I’m trying to render a walkthrough animation of a cabin. I’m using GPU mode, since CPU would take way too much time to finish rendering. Interior lighting mode makes the frames flicker, and Product mode creates some odd lighter colored profile behind objects which are currently invisible, but will be visible later in the animation. This issue is visible both on the floor and walls.
There is no overlap or collision between the objects, and the fade values are rounded, exactly 1 or 0, no almost values like 0.98 or 0.154 by mistake.
Ground illumination OFF, Self shadows ON, global illumination ON, caustics OFF. (none of these have any effect on the issue)
I think I had the same issue once and I think I worked around it by putting those items in a different model set and turn that off as well.
Not too sure though, if you’re able to share that scene (via private message) I can take a look as well. I’m not entirely sure if I also reported it as bug but I think the scene could be interesting for Luxion as well.
Seems like it works, but quite inconvenient to render the whole thing in pieces. Thanks for the tips though, this still makes it better than my previous choices
